I have been adopted!

Bodie was picked up at a boat landing with Moe, presumably his littermate. The two dogs were impounded during their stray hold and then needed rescue when no owners came forward. Bodie is more reserved of the two, although he comes to life when he is in the company of his brother. He is crate-trained and house-trained. We are looking for a home to adopt Bodie and Moe, together, because they are so bonded.

Bodie is participating in our Rush to Rescue program, so he is currently being fostered by a pair of offenders at the Rush City Correctional Facility. While there, he will be attending a training program with a certified trainer and will be working on his commands with his handlers. 
From Bodie's handlers: 
A perfect day for Bodie includes playing ball and sleeping at your feet. Bodie loves to play with his toys or another dogs. He is very active outside, but stays close to his people even when with other dogs. When inside, Bodie is pretty mellow. He plays with toys a bit and chews his Nylabone, but overall just likes to hang out and relax. Bodie know his basic commands: sit, stay, come, wait, drop it. He also has great recall when off-leash. Bodie can be left for long periods of time, but would much rather be with people or another dog. He is okay in a crate. He is quiet and chews his bone, but he'd rather not be in there. Bodie does not get into trash or tear things up. He will entertain himself with his toys and likes to look out the window. Bodie is up for anything if it means spendiing time with his people or other dogs.
