I am in my forever home and have a great home!!!!

Ace is a very sweet, loving dog. We aren't sure what he is mixed with, but we think his beard is super cute. He is well-behaved in the house and likes to run and play when outside. Ace loves people and goes up to everyone he sees so he can meet them. If they are lucky, they will get a hug from him. Ace gets along great with other dogs and enjoys playing with them. He is curious about cats and likes to chase them, but he leaves them alone when told to do so. Ace is housetrained and crate-trained. He does not enjoy being kenneled and found ways to get out of his kennel during his stay at the pound. Ace also walks pretty well on a leash. He is a mix of a herding breed and is very smart.

Ace is participating in our Rush to Rescue program, so he is being fostered by a pair of offenders at the Rush City Correctional Facility. While there, he will be attending a training program with a certified trainer and will work on his commands and manners with his handlers.

Hello, my name is Ace and I'm a border collie mix. I'm very friendly and funny. I have a big heart and an even bigger curly tail that I love to chase. I love to run and play in the snow. I also like to play fetch and shake hands. I'd love to live somewhere where there is children to play with and lot of room to run. I'm very loyal to my family. I love to eat peanut butter for a treat at night. If you're looking for a very loving dog, I'm the one for you.
