Penny is a very playful, fairly energetic young dog. She loves people and is extremely friendly, although she has been a little shy at first to some people. Penny can entertain herself with toys and she loves to play fetch with the tennis ball. She seems to get along well with most other dogs, although she can be a little too playful for the seniors. Penny has also shown a complete indifference to cats. Penny is crate-trained and house-trained.

Penny is participating in our Rush to Rescue program, so she is being fostered by a pair of offenders at the Rush City Correctional Facility. While there, she will be attending a training program with a certified trainer and will be working on her commands with her handlers.
