Trixie is a very loving dog who just wants to please. As much as she enjoys playing with her toys and bones, more than anything she seems to love the attention from people. Trixie has done very well with the other dogs she has met and wants to play with them all the time. She did great with sharing her treats, toys and water with her foster brother. Trixie was initially interested in the cats she met and wanted to chase them if they ran. After getting used to them, she pretty much ignored them and decided to turn her attention back towards the dog or the people. Trixie is housetrained and crate-trained. She kennels up nicely, and occupies herself with a Kong or a Nylabone. 

Trixie is participating in our Rush to Rescue program, so she is being fostered by a pair of offenders at the Rush City Correctional Facility. While there, she will be attending a training program with a certified trainer and will be working on her commands with her handlers.
