Miley came from Minneapolis Animal Care and Control, and she was listed as a lab mix. We are thinking she may be more of a terrier mix since she is still quite petite at almost five months old. Miley is just a little peanut who is even more adorable in person that she is in her pictures. It must be her personality coming through, as she has a lot of it packed into that tiny body of hers. Miley is just a puppy who was born at the end of April, so she has a few puppy behaviors that she is working on, such as jumping up on people. She is just so happy to see everyone that she feels the need to make her pressence known.  Miley loves to play with her toys and is quite fun to watch as she entertains herself with them. She is crate-trained, but is working on going into the crate more willingly with the help of some treats. Miley is still working on housetraining, but we are confident she will pick it up quickly becasue she is so smart. She gets along well with other dogs and seems to ignore cats.

Miley is participating in our Rush to Rescue program, so she is being fostered by a pair of offenders at the Rush City Correctional Facility. While there, she will be attending a training program with a certified trainer and will be working on her commands with her handlers.
