 Rescued Tails Animal Sanctuary has a program which will ensure that other cats and kittens will not have to endure and suffer the hardships that our sweet Barkley encountered prior to coming to Rescued Tails. We found Barkley in August of 2016, in horrible condition. He was so weak that he could not even wipe away the fleas that covered his face. Barkley was diagnosed with both kidney and heart disease, but we were fortunate to have had the privilege of caring for this amazing boy for almost one year.Barkley’s Barn Cat Fund focuses on helping the stray, feral and barn cat populations in NW Wisconsin. We work closely with the Purple Cat Mobile Veterinary Service (www.purplecatvet.com) which offers quality, low cost spay neuter clinics. We provide funding for people needing assistance with vet care for their cats - specifically spay and neuter surgeries. Please contact us to request the following: an application, clinic dates and/or to sign up for a clinic, current surgery pricing, a list of participating veterinarians and any other questions you may have. We are thankful for this opportunity to help others, and we look forward to helping many cats, in memory of Barkley who walked into our hearts one warm summer day. |
