Speedy is sitting at a shelter in southern MN and is in desperate need of help. She has been diagnosed with Cushings disease, and the shelter does not have the money to treat her. We are trying to find a foster home for her so we can take her into our program and help her. We will cover all expenses. Speedy is an affectionate dog who loves attention, being petted and rubbed. She prefers the quiet, indoor life without strenuous activity where she can be close to people. At one time Speedy lived with another dog, but it appears as though she is not fond of other dogs, so she would do best as an only dog. Speedy is crate trained and seems to be fine with cats. Adoption Event -- Saturday June 2nd, 2012
FOSTER HOMES NEEDED!!! If you are not able to adopt an animal at this time, but would like to help animals, we have many opportunities for you. We are always in need of FOSTER HOMES. Our wonderful foster home volunteers enable us to literally save the lives of more animals - without our foster homes most of these animals would not be alive. It is a very rewarding experience to take in, and care for, a frightened abandoned animal and watch that animal grow in confidence and blossom into a wonderful companion pet. Please let us know if you would be willing to help save the life of a homeless animal by taking the animal into your home and heart and providing much needed foster care - we would be more than happy to tell you more - just give us a call or e-mail.
